That’s me – Joyce Layman.

I believe that when you change your thoughts, you can change your life. I’ve experienced the transformation and have worked for years to help others do the same.

It starts with how you think and builds on how you connect.

I assist individuals and organizations to change their way of thinking through the science of mindset in order to achieve bolder goals. I help them build partnerships, alliances, and mutually beneficial relationships. I have the uncanny ability to see straight into underlying issues, pinpoint the causes and then help develop the best approach to overcome those issues. My clients consist of business owners, solopreneurs, industry leaders and companies looking to differentiate themselves from their competition. It starts in the mind and expands to your circle of influence and within your teams, with your customers and your strategic partners.

I deliver solutions through keynote speaking and breakout sessions, professional development workshops and offer an individualized approach for each of my business coaching clients. Together, we develop a solid strategy and compelling plans of action that create momentum, inspire performance and deliver results.

My Biography

I fully believe that the best teachers are those who teach from their own experience. And, when I found information that changed my life, I committed to this idea even more. I have been trained in The Pacific Institute’s (TPI’s) processes and have been a consultant in those very processes since 2006. Based on research at top universities including Harvard Medical School and the Universities of Stanford, and Washington, TPI’s curricula for performance improvement has been used by more than 60% of U.S. Fortune 500 companies as well as various branches of the U.S. Government, professional athletes, and Nobel Prize winners.

By adding this powerful training into my experience in sales, consulting and coaching, I developed my own process which combines science self and a “Layman’s terms” approach for helping clients deal with the unexpected, navigate challenges and create change.

In the fall of 2013, I was honored to be featured as a speaker at TEDxUMKC. At continued prompting from clients, I put insight into book form with Just Another Leap and Your Connecting Advantage.

It’s impossible to list all of my clients on the website so here are a few I’ve worked with: Hallmark, Citi, Bryan Cave LLP, the Accredited Snow Contractors Association, the National Association of College Stores, Western States Fire Protection, NEI Global Relocation, First Marblehead, PMI South Florida Chapter and Houlihan’s. Private coaching clients have included small businesses, solopreneurs and professional service [providers.
