The Mental Technology of Leadership course helps organizations, departments, teams, communities, and individuals unleash their potential and increase performance to obtain their desired outcomes.

Change is always happening, it typically happens fast, and often happens all around us.  Transition seems to take more time and for the most part takes place inward in both the mind and heart.  So the real question is…when change is implemented how well do you and your people transition?

The Mental Technology of Leadership examines the difference between change and transition. It identifies how habits attitudes, beliefs and expectations can become road blocks on the path to transition or become the helpful tools needed in adjusting to the ever changing world. The content is based on decades of research in cognitive science and high achievement. The 11-units are designed with real life examples and practical concepts that resonate with the participants both personally and professionally.

This unit covers personal development and the importance of identifying aspects of your personal, professional and organizational life and understanding how we can transition toward any change we desire.

– Unit 2: The Wedge and Our Performance

Find out how to increase your potential and performance in this unit and how to get more out of your organization based on diagnosing the Habits, Attitudes, Beliefs and Expectations that may be holding you back.

– Unit 3: Focus on the Solution, not the Problem

We are teleological in nature and move towards what we think about. If we think about the solution and how it looks and feels like fixed, we will move toward it versus the problem.

– Unit 4: Talking to Yourself

We move toward what we think about thus we must control our self-talk or thoughts to achieve success.

– Unit 5: Cultural Communication

Once you understand that your mind is made up of many parts, you can explore cultural diversity in your personal, professional and organizational life.

– Unit 6: Comfort Zones

Understanding how to expand your comfort zone with words, pictures and emotions, we can realize what might be holding us back and what our potential can be.

– Unit 7: IQ vs EQ

Intelligent Quotient (IQ) deals with your aptitude and the Emotional Quotient (EQ) redefines what it means to be smart and achieve ultimate success in life. Success in life is only 20% IQ but 80% EQ.

– Unit 8: Model-Mentor-Monitor

Modeling, mentoring and monitoring are the keys to successful coaching and consulting others. We must always model, mentor and monitor the intended behavior we expect others to have.

– Unit 9: Stress-Tension-Pressure

Our thoughts and words trigger pictures that create actions and results.

– Unit 10: Goals

When we set the goal and create the how we can manage our way.

– Unit 11: Self-Efficacy & Collective Efficacy
